چکیده
This paper proposes a new simplified restoring force characteristic model of the bending moment–rotation angle relationship for square concrete-filled steel tube (CFT) beam-columns to estimate elastoplastic flexural-shear behavior from short slender beam-columns. The CFT beam-column incorporates reduction in strength after ultimate strength. proposed is multilinear and involves cracking point, yield an points. In model, each flexural calculated by general superposed method, empirical expressions rotation are results previous experimental cyclic monotonic loading tests. relation found agree approximately with up large angles.

Effect of Cooling on Bending Angle and Microstructure in Laser Tube Bending with Circumferential Scanning
Laser tube bending is a flexible forming process. Two irradiation methods of axial and circumferential scanning are generally used to form metal tubes. The two most important disadvantages of circumferential scanning are its lower bending angle and the time interval required between each scan for cooling purpose. In this research, a novel cooling strategy during laser tube bending with circumfe...

The random-force (Larkin) model of a directed elastic string subject to quenched random forces in the transverse directions has been a paradigm in the statistical physics of disordered systems. In this Brief Report, we investigate a modified version of the above model where the total transverse force along the polymer contour and the related total torque, in each realization of disorder, vanish...
متن کاملinvestigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures
deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
Constraint and Restoring Force
Long-lived sensor network applications must be able to self-repair and adapt to changing demands. We introduce a new approach for doing so: Constraint and Restoring Force. CRF is a physics-inspired framework for computing scalar fields across a sensor network with occasional changes. We illustrate CRF’s usefulness by applying it to gradients, a common building block for sensor network systems. ...
